Another year begins...

So, it's that time of year again - the students are back, and campus is buzzing!

Welcome back to all Lancaster returning students, and welcome to all new freshers!

If you're reading this, then you've already discovered our website. Keep on reading to find out more about what we do. 

We are LUVU (that's "loo-voo" not "love-you"!): Lancaster University Volunteering Unit.  We are a team of full time staff dedicated to providing all you Lancaster University students with enjoyable, worthwhile and fulfilling experiences during your time here.  You can find out more about the team on our contact page.

We offer a wide range of experiences, some more demanding than others; some that can be related to your degree, some that are just for fun; many in Lancaster itself, but also spread right across Lancashire; you can work with children or the elderly, the police or young offenders, you can dig or you can deliver.

Please explore our website, have a look at what's on offer, and see how your time at Lancaster could be improved by getting involved with LUVU.  Each of our projects has a home page, which you can access through the project links that are always on the right hand side of the screen.  If you get lost, you can always return to the front of the site by clicking on the LUVU logo in the top right corner.

When you find something that takes your fancy, come along to the intro talk (detailed on each project's homepage) to find out more.  If you're not sure what to do next, or have an idea of what you want to do but can't find it, call into the LUVU office (just off Alex Square on the end of the North Spine), or email one of the team.
