Morecambe Football Club

The Voltage project has been working in the Lancashire area for just under two years. More than 130 young people have set up and run their own social enterprise business in their college/sixth form. These businesses have been supported by over 40 Lancaster University Volunteers.

 

Following the succes of the project so far we have found a new partner...Morecambe Football Club.

 

So what are we doing with Morecambe FC?

We are looking for a group af people aged 16-25 who want to make some positive changes to their community.

These young people will be involved in:

•  fun and intereactive workshops at Morecambe FC

Universtiy volunteers and staff will run  dynamic activities about ideas development, selling, marketing and public speaking.

• expanding their ideas to make a change with their local area

Student volunteers and staff will support the young people in what they want to change about their local area and help them to develop a stratergy so that these changes can be made in a positive way.

• CV experience

Everyone involved will gain invaluable experience in business and much more.
