Would you like to help mentor young people?

Laura, 24/01/2008 - 16:19

Working one-to-one with 5-17 year olds.

GRIP

Volunteers would be working alongside an organisation called GRIP. This opportunity involves working with young people aged 5-17 years who are involved in anti-social behaviour. Volunteers would have a role mentoring young people to engage with them and assist them by accessing activities for constructive use of their leisure time. The young people are those who have been identified as being at potential risk of anti-social behaviour, so the aim of the project is to enable them to use their free time in a more constructive and productive manner, and should be very rewarding for any volunteers involved.
