Schools

The Schools Partnership provides students with the opportunity to get involved in local primary and high schools on a variety of projects.
All projects give invaluable experience of working in a classroom situation: allowing you to develop new skills whilst inspiring young people and building some fantastic friendships and memories.
The Schools Partnership is a perfect place to start if you are considering teaching as a career, whether you have been accepted onto a course or have only just started thinking about it. That said, the skills gained are relevant to any career path and all sorts of people are suited to the projects:
"It was just great to be able to spend a few hours a week in a completely different environment"
Richard Barnes, Classroom Volunteer.
Opportunities vary from regular placements and long term creative arts projects to one-off days celebrating a variety of curriculum topics.

As well as the projects we already offer, we are always keen to hear new ideas and involve students in leading new and innovative projects so please don't hesitate to contact our Schools Coordinator, Joe Bourne.
